Book is in very good minus condition; dust jacket is in good condition—endpapers and the occasional page are discolored, and jacket shows fraying, edge tears, and chipping to the spine ends (disguised with a facsimile underlay). Introduction and translation by Eugenia Shepherd.
Published seven years after Dior’s New Look revolutionized postwar fashion, this book’s subject matter is faithful to its title.
