Jacqueline Onassis might have wanted to punch paparazzo Ron Galella, but Marlon Brando actually did, knocking out five of Galella’s teeth in the process. It is that event Galella references in his inscription to this copy. The book is enormous (seven pounds and a foot and a half long). Published in France, only Barney’s and a few other retailers carried it in the U.S. The book depicts champion boxers like Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson and a Who’s Who of celebrities attending some of the most heralded boxing matches of last forty years.
