[Signed Presentation Copy; Ex Libris Noel Taylor] Hepburn, Katharine. The Private World of Katharine Hepburn. First Edition. 1990. Book and dust jacket are both in very good condition. It is inscribed on the title page, “For Noel [Taylor], Affection, Kate.” On the table of contents page, it is also inscribed, “Noel—The affection may come from Kate, but the book is from me! Love Prideaux.”
This book is ex libris Noel Taylor, the Hollywood costume designer who was contractually written in to all projects involving Katharine Hepburn. The second inscription is from James Prideaux, a writer and close friend of Hepburn. This great book of photographs depicts Hepburn at her three residences (New York, Connecticut, the Cukor home on Doheny), traveling, on movie sets, etc. during the 1970s and 1980s.
