Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis edited the American edition of her friend Princess Grace’s book. This English edition, however, is better in terms of size and quality. It was inspired by a sold-out exhibition of pressed flower collages the Princess had shown in a Paris gallery. The book includes examples of the collages as well as other aspects Grace’s fascination with botanicals, including photographs of the royal gardens in Monaco. Her husband’s high expectations of decorum fitting a princess meant that Grace’s ability to promote the book was severely curtailed. As such, signed copies are uncommon.
