This cookbook from the beloved international film star was conceived in 1968 when Loren herself was with child and had, at last, time off from work to prepare her favorite meals, mostly Italian but others that she had come to enjoy through her international travels. The recipient of this copy, Burt Lancaster, was an enthusiastic chef himself and undoubtedly appreciated this cookbook from his glamorous-yet-earthy co-star.
