Wylie, Kiskaddon. Altogether Now! First Edition. 1929. Book is in very good condition; dust jacket is in very good minus condition—two tiny chips to front cover.
The characters in this novel were dancing on the edge of the cliff we now call the Great Depression, and neither they nor the author knew it. The subject was the fast living, hard drinking ways of collegiate life at an unnamed but obviously Ivy League school, circa the Roaring Twenties. It was a matter the author knew well, as he had just completed his freshman year at such a school. The New York Times compared the author to Hemingway and gave him favorable reviews. A well-preserved, attractive copy.
