[Signed Presentation by Nancy Reagan to David Jones] Colacello, Bob. Nancy Reagan, A First Lady’s Style. First Edition. 2007. Hardcover with pictorial pastedown on the front cover. Book is in very good minus condition—there is a tiny stain to the front cover affecting two of the letters in the titles. It is warmly inscribed to Mrs. Reagan's close friend and longtime florist, "To David, my dear Nancyite, who always makes everything look so beautiful, with so many thanks, Nancy." Laid in is a printed card reading "To: David Jones, With the compliments of Mrs. Ronald Reagan."
Just as important as being at the right place at the right time is being correctly attired while there. Nancy Reagan managed both. This image-filled book was the catalogue for a Reagan Library exhibition and not widely distributed. David Jones was Mrs. Reagan’s longtime florist and devoted friend.
