Illustrated with eight full-page color plates and many b & w drawings, this attractive book is geared towards adolescents, but now, is perhaps of just as much appeal to adults, particularly those interested in the golden age of travel. It was only published in Britain, and as such, is told from that perspective. Includes chapters on the great passenger railways, luxury steam liners, and much more.
