What makes a woman attractive? According to former MGM glamour goddess Arlene Dahl, the answer to that question is to ask a man. She polled dozens of them, including Marlon Brando, Yul Brynner, Charles Addams, Prince Aly Kahn, and Richard Burton. Their answers are woven into Dahl’s own theories. With chapters on diet, skin, hair, elegance, clothes, etc., the book evokes the Mad Men era in which it was written, yet it is surprising how much holds true today. Frequent black & white illustration adds to the charm. Fun.
“I like men. And I like men to like me—so I dress for them.”
