Book is in very good condition; dust jacket is in very good minus condition—jacket shows minor fraying and small edge tears, and the price is marked out on the front flap. Laid in is a note on Windsor stationery with the pre-printed message “The Duchess of Windsor thanks you very much for you message and thought of her at this time.” Below that, is a handwritten note (most likely in a secretary’s hand), “Thank you so much for your nice book and I am looking forward to seeing you on Thursday 25th at 4:30.”
This is the Duchess of Windsor’s life story, with a note laid in on stationery made for handling condolence messages following the death of her husband.
