This was the book for an eponymous exhibition held at The Allentown Art Museum. The word “priestess” in the book’s title is appropriate, as there is a mystical quality present in McFadden’s designs featured in this book. There are nods to antiquity, Africa, and India, but they are not slavish reproductions. McFadden makes the designs entirely her own. Includes color and b & w photographs depicting not only McFadden’s fashion designs but also her interior ones as well.
