Angus McBean was Vivien Leigh’s great friend and her favorite photographer. It was his shot of her that she sent to David Selznick in America that landed her the role in Gone With the Wind. That session was the beginning of McBean’s collaboration with Leigh, which endured until her death in the 1960s. The best of those images are presented in this coffee table book, including many stills from Vivien Leigh film and stage productions.
