The Ossie Clark Diaries
Rous, Lady Henrietta (ed.). The Ossie Clark Diaries. First English Edition. 1998. Book and dust jacket are both in very good condition.
Ossie Clark was one of the most influential designers of 1960s and 1970s London, becoming nearly as famous as those he dressed. His journals are an important record of that era, both as to fashion and to the jet set society in which he traveled. These journals trace his highs and lows and his tumultuous marriage to Celia Birtwell. Only the English edition has a dust cover showing the journals in the colorful and fluid style in which he wrote actually wrote them.
