The subjects are basically a retrospective of the mid-20th Century. They include Marella Agnelli (who is on the cover), Brigitte Bardot, Cecil Beaton, Marisa Berenson, Chanel, Marlene Dietrich, Audrey Hepburn, Katherine Hepburn, Lauren Hutton, Bianca Jagger, Mike Nichols, Suzy Parker, Yves Saint Laurent, Diana Vreeland, and others.
