This is basically a reference book, but it is wrapped in a most attractive package, with a dust jacket and interior illustration by the very talented Willard Mullin. It also includes many pages of b & w photographic images. The remainder of the book is text. There is a complete list of statistics involving early-to-mid 20th Century World Series games. Also there is commentary on the Series, broken down into eras. It would make an attractive book to display in a baseball fan’s bedroom or study.
