Signed by both Lloyd Arnold and John Hemingway (who has signed it “Jack Hemingway.”)
More than any other American writer, Ernest Hemingway was closely identified with sports and the outdoors, which is the subject of this attractive and image-filled coffee table book. The author was a Sun Valley photographer who befriended Hemingway on one of his frequent visits to his favorite mountain resort. Over the next twenty years, the two became great friends, bonding over their mutual interest in sports and hunting. Includes photos of Hemingway fly fishing, hiking, snow skiing, etc., as well of Arnold’s reminiscences of their times together.
