There is something seductively decadent about this mid-1960s portrait Horst P. Horst shot for American Vogue's "Living" series. The subjects were Lord Peregrine and Lady Jacquetta Eliot. They were photographed at Port Eliot House, his family ancestral home that the Daily Mail reported Prince Charles was in talks to purchase in 2015 (the sale never went through).
Lord Eliot succeeded to his father's title, Earl of St. Germans, in 1988. She famously posed nude for Lucian Freud, including Large Interior W9 (pictured below).
